PHP and Pixels

I thought Picture Wars had died completely, but it turns out that the community's forum gave up the ghost and forced everyone to move to a temporary replacement. I'm getting back into the swing of it, since I enjoyed it so much last time, but I've yet to complete my new sprite army.

Something else I'm getting into at the moment is PHP. I've only just started, but it seems to be very similar to JavaScript, so I don't think I'll have too much trouble with it.

Since I already know enough XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript to get me by, PHP seems like the next logical step. You can do a lot with PHP, and it has the potential to be very powerful. The Regional ICT Manager of Hastings told me that they were using it at the schools they look after to change students' passwords when they were forgotten. That's pretty cool stuff for a technician.

So far it has seemed like one of those weeks that has something for you to do every evening, so you don't actually get much time to yourself after work. Hopefully there'll be a break at some point and I'll be able to focus some creative energy on these new projects.
