Climbing Mountains

If your life, or any part of it, could be thought of as a journey over rugged, mountainous terrain, how would you address the mountains before you?

The fastest and most direct route is to walk between the mountains, along the valley floor. However, you do not always have much choice in which direction you walk since you have to follow the winding bends of the lowlands.

If you put that extra effort into your journey, dare to go against the grain, and climb, you can go anywhere you want. When you reach the summit will you ask yourself why you wasted all that time and energy to get there, or will you marvel at the view and ask yourself why you didn't start climbing earlier?

But as a friend of mine added to this idea, you cannot climb a mountain simply because it is a mountain. Choose your mountain he said.
