Summer Again

The best thing about the summer holidays starting is turning off the alarm on my mobile.

My bike still isn't operational. The insurance people are taking their sweet time getting things done. They've had the estimate faxed through to them twice and still they're asking for it. Yeah they're asking for it all right.

I've not done much special yet over the holidays with the Fates conspiring to keep me a pedestrian. I'm trying to get through the final mission/s of Guild Wars Prophecies but the players I'm meeting are mostly too stubborn or too stupid to follow any sort of tactical advise. The typical thing you'll see in every game is Warriors (the wammos especially) charging ahead, gaining the aggression of all the nearby monsters, dying very quickly, and then quitting two seconds later. The final missions require a little more tactical thought but it seems beyond most players to grasp it.

I'm off to see the Dark Knight tonight (25/07/2008). It should be good.
