Biohazard

Today I should be carrying a biohazard warning sign because I stink.

First our washer/dryer breaks down, so I'm rapidly running out of fresh clothes and towels. So I think to myself I'll skip showering on the weekend so that I've got a towel for Monday morning before work – that way I will be virtually the only one has to suffer my pong.

But on Sunday, during dungeons and dragons (which went pretty well, although the end of my sessions is rarely well planned or practised), the toilet starts threatening to overflow. The cistern is full up and keeps on filling. In the end we had to turn off the water supply for the entire house.

So I haven't had a shower this morning and as a result I reek. I can't really find the words to describe this stench but I'm sure “moth balls” would be one of the similes I'd use.

In other news work was waiting for me the moment I got into the college. Long story short, the Internet wasn't working this morning so as you can imagine there are a lot of people panicking; asking the same questions over and over.

I've been watching the latest Fallout 3 trailers from Bethesda. I can hardly wait for this game now. I haven't really been very excited about new releases for a while, or even computer games in general. I guess that's because I've just been playing the same games over and over but it seems like the rest of this year will be bringing out some interesting titles. Fallout 3 is certainly on my list of games to play and should, reportedly be out next month; I'm eagerly awaiting the new Prince of Persia (of course) although that might not be out until Christmas; there are some other interesting games I've seen the trailers for such as Wet, Legendary, I Am Alive, Dead Space, Halo Wars, Dungeon Hero, Dawn of War II; and Warhammer 40k: Space Marine which looks like it will be fantastic when they get more than two combos animated and implemented.

I don't play Warhammer or Warhammer 40,000 any more (even the Gorkamorka campaign faded away) but I do hold a very special place for the settings and the games. I find that I'm truly passionate only on a handful of subjects but Warhammer/Warhammer 40k is certainly one of those things. The problem with the Space Marine trailer I saw is that there wasn't much of a sense of urgency in the battles (I'm guessing the presenter was using a developer mode with invulnerability on and played on the easiest mode or something). Also the chaos marines weren't much of a challenge. What was awesome was the height of the space marine character the player controls compared to the traitor guard who he was fighting. The boltgun sound effects and muzzle flare was pretty damned cool and the Thunderhawk gunships flitting between buildings as battle raged on below also looked the part. As for exactly how good the game will be when it's finished – I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Hi again:P
Yeah, Im waiting for Fallout III too, although from what I've heard it won't be the same old Fallout it was in II. But who knows? I'll try the game and see if I like it:)

Anyways,
I came to ask you if I could use your D&D campaign so me and my mates can play it. The school has started so my brain is kinda shut-down for making-up stories, and it would be easier for me if I would have a made campaign:) So could you, like, borrow it to me?:P Pretty please. :) I haven't read all of the parts yet, so I'm missing the whole picture, so I don't know if the campaign ends? Ill go and read the rest of it now:)

I'm sure Fallout 3 won't disappoint. Even if it doesn't live up to Fallout 2's example, it will still be a good game.

Of course you can use my campaign! I put it up here so people like yourself can read it!

I tell you what - download the parts that are on here and I'll get to working on a basic version of the adventures so you can play the whole campaign.

I've got all my notes on a Google Notebook but they need filling out. Email me (blakkmatt@gmail.com) and I'll send everything through as soon as I finish it.
