It's Over

It's all over. Done. Finito.

While I do not regret doing it, and this jury duty has been an experience to remember, I'm glad it's finished. My head still hasn't stopped spinning, and I'm sure it'll take all weekend for it to slow down to a bearable velocity.

My bike's front brake was acting up very strangely when I last rode it to court. It was a lovely ride and I much preferred it to going on the train. I learned a thing or two about filtering, which isn't something I do often at all, and experience some nice roads at my own pace. Unfortunately, I was only able to ride it to attend jury duty for two days because of whatever it is that's wrong with the brakes.

I took the bike for its eight-thousand mile service on Saturday and everything seemed okay. This is no longer the case and tomorrow I'll have to ride it back to Gedge to see what has gone wrong.

I think that I'll be alone at work on Monday. After the Easter holidays, John went off sick with the same problem he had the other month. I cannot see this ending well. But that means that the school has gone an entire week without IT support! I'm sure a lot of people will have turned to the IT teachers for aid, but there will be a fair number of problems they wouldn't be able to address.

So Monday will be living hell.
