As I was leaving work yesterday I noted that the weather was absolutely perfect. Not too warm, not too cool, not too bright, not too muggy.
Above me the sun shone strong,
Gentle warmth without the harshness of summer,
The slightest breeze cooling skin,
Refreshing walker, gardener, and runner,
Clouds roll past imperceptibly slow,
Like heavenly castles floating high above,
The sky a gentle gradient of peaceful blue,
Suddenly the world is something I'm part of,
The leaves are still young,
On branches they heave and sway,
In time with the green grass below,
I rejoice that I live to see this day.
Speaking of climate, I'm putting a lot of thought into moving now. Moving out of East Sussex. I want to go to somewhere there are fewer people, and somewhere the people are friendlier. Herefordshire, Cumbria, Northumberland, Scotland, Shropshire. Perhaps even further abroad. Canada, Australia. I haven't decided yet, although from population density I've got my sights set on Shropshire. It all depends on how much it will all cost and whether or not I can find a job when I get to wherever I'm going. I should think I'll have to retrain as something else. An electrician or something. The problem still lies with me, in that I don't know what I want to do.
