Just Pretending

CrysTech seemed just as surprised as me when I told them my computer hadn't been picked up on Friday. Whether that is a feint or not I don't know. As long as they fix my PC (replace RAM/motherboard most likely) I'll be happy. I've been reduced to writing everything that needs writing on Google Notebook at work, and I've only played Halo 3 and Assassins Creed on the 360 instead of the games I was supposed to be playing (I didn't buy them to sit on my bookshelf).

Oh, and if anyone has any tips on defeating the two Scarabs at the end of The Covenant on Legendary then please email me them. I've tried the Scorpion, the Hornet, and even the Mongoose but to no avail. I can do it on Heroic just fine but after I've destroyed one Scarab the other one becomes a problem as I can't get in it.

My youngest brother Sam passed his practical test yesterday on his CBR125 with only one minor. He's over the moon, as he should be.

I found a collection of D&D related joke spells on rpg.net, some of them had me laughing out loud with the best ones being charm friend, transmute rock to stone, detect fire (range: touch), guess alignment, and feign invisibility. There were other, less funny ones, such as delayed blast flatulence, or animate bread which were more of a play on words but a handful of the listed spells struck me as very creative.
