Slogging it

Okay fine. I haven't done anything productive this week and it's already... what day is it? Thursday. Where did Wednesday go? I'm sure there was supposed to be a Wednesday scheduled for this week. Well... anyway I've done a little for Dungeons and Dragons but I really need to get cracking if I want it to be ready for Sunday. The biggest problem is my home PC as it has had the return of the freezing curse it has always had.

The weirdest thing about my PC freezing is that if I format the hard drive and reinstall Windows, the problem goes away for a month or so before returning. I'm really at a loss to explain why it does this at all. At first it only froze in games, then it froze in Firefox. I'm hoping it never freezes in an Office application because I'm counting on Word 2007 on allowing me to write up my D&D notes before this weekend. And if I want to print anything off at work I've got to stat-up all those monsters before tomorrow!

But I've also got Gorkamorka I was supposed to be painting. It would seem I have been procrastinating far too much. And I'd really like to build a fort for my mob as well. Every self respecting ork mob has a scratch-built fort out in the desert and if one of the other players wants to run a Siege scenario against me (or if I capture one of their boyz and they want to try and rescue him) then I should build a fort for such a game. I've got plenty of cardboard so I suppose all I really need is some PVA, patience and free time. But like I said I think it's procrastination that's been holding me back so far. I keep telling myself to go out for a run but something has gotten in the way every day this week.

So. I will whip myself into shape, pull my socks up, and get going because putting things off like this is no good!

How's that for a positive, pro-active post?
