Last Minute Expense

Considering that I might have to get rid of my Versys in order to afford a more practical vehicle (read: "a car"), it's damned cruel for the bike to have an expensive problem right now.

One and a half months out of warranty and the exhaust has blown. The seal is rotten, rusted like the underside of a sunken ship, and riding it invokes a sound like loose gravel rattling around a tin can.

The bike is booked into the garage for Thursday morning, but considering that my new job requires me to get from site a to site b in a timely manner, this could have come at a better time.

And I thought the fire in the underground carpark was bad.
